Exam Schedules

Midterm Exam: 28 October (Thursday), In-class.
- Coverage: Chapters 8 (only those items covered in this semester), 9, 10, 11. Also those relevant old exam problems from the National Exam.
- Total 8 questions. There will be a set of true/false questions. At least 4 problems will be identical or closely related to homework problems.
- Here is the Problems and Solutions. The average was 58 and the maximum score achieved by a student was 80. If you think you did not get a score you deserve, you are welcome to dispute. Please do that no later than 18:00 of the day before your final exam day.

Final Exam: 15 December (Wednesday), 15:00--16:40 at E1-1 Room 136.
- Coverage: Chapters 8 (only those items covered in this semester), 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (only those items covered in this semester). Also those relevant old exam problems from the National Exam.
- Total 8 questions. There will be a set of true/false questions. Review session video lecture will be provided.
- Here are Problems and Solutions. The average was 56 and the maximum score achieved by a student was 76. If you would like to dispute, please follow the instruction in the email announcement.

Assessment of Project-Based Learning (PBL)

For an extra credit, you should record a 20-minute long video lecture about one of the following:
(1) A sample lecture on any topic listed on the syllabus of this course.
(2) A sample lecture on a concept from secondary school geometry curricular.

You should submit the video in a form of a YouTube video link by choosing the sharing option "unlisted." Please use this form to submit your work.

Your video will be disclosed to your classmates in this course as a part of a YouTube playlist. You may turn your video into “private” or even delete the video after your letter grade for this course is assigned.
